Pennsylvania College of Technology's Electronics & Computer Engineering Technology Department offers courses in analog and digital electronic systems, measurements and tests, electronic prototyping and design, digital signal processing, and final project. Emphasis is on skills needed to lead projects and interface with engineering and development teams.
Our students are encouraged to work closely with our department Internship Coordinator to make early contacts and connections in their current field of interest. This connection can greatly improve a student’s chance of prospective employment. Graduates in our associate-degree program have an average salary of $37,000, while our bachelor-degree graduates’ average salary is $48,000.
Graduates from our associate- and bachelor-degree programs are in high demand to fill industry positions such as engineering technician, field service engineer, test engineer, application engineer, senior technician, associate engineer, project engineer and systems software engineer. In addition there is a strong demand for graduates who study in the Robotics and Automation emphasis.

The student chapter of IEEE at Penn College hosted the organization’s Region 2 Student Activities Conference on campus over the weekend. One hundred forty IEEE student members from 18 colleges in the region participated in a variety of electronics-related competition.
