Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals who are a vital part of the surgical team and provide surgical care and expertise to patients. While demand varies among communities, the forecast for employment in the surgical technology area is one of rapid growth. Surgical technologists find employment in hospitals, outpatient care centers, ambulatory surgical centers, physician offices, dentist/oral surgeon offices, and central processing areas.
Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Surgical Technology program prepares you to take the national certification exam in surgical technology, to enter the workforce, and to continue your education.
