Facilities

The newly renovated paramedic facilities are located in the Klump Academic Center on the Penn College campus. The facilities contain a skills laboratory, lecture classroom, faculty and staff offices, and ready access to nearby dining facilities and computer labs.

A 360 degree, rotating vehicle promotes realistic scenarios and challenging case studies which enable our students to practice vehicle extrication of patients in various positions. A fully functioning ambulance affords students the opportunity to practice advanced life support treatment on scene or during transport in a simulated environment. Within a simulated emergency room setting, students practice assessments and skills utilizing computer-generated patient scenarios in conjunction with simulated mannequin training and state-of-the-art equipment.
