Q: Is financial aid available?

A: Yes. We strongly recommend that you contact Penn College's Financial Aid Office for an application and assistance with the application process.

Q: How do I get previous college courses approved for transfer credit?

A: Refer to the Transfer Guidelines Web page.

Q: Do you award credit-for-life experience?

A: Credit-for-life experience is awarded on a case-by-case basis. The program director will review the student's proposal (list of experience that the student wishes to have evaluated for credit value) and forward the proposal to the admissions office. There is a fee for the evaluation of credits. Details can be found in the College catalog. Upon verification from the admissions office, the program director will inform the student of the results.

Q: Can I have a preliminary evaluation to determine how many credits I will need to earn my degree?

A: Sure! Please e-mail or send a copy of your transcripts and current healthcare certification(s) to Pennsylvania College of Technology, Applied Health Studies, DIF 12, One College Avenue, Williamsport, PA 17701.

Q: Must my certification license or registration be current and in good standing to get credit?

A: Yes. A copy of your current license or registration card will be requested before credits will be awarded to you.

Q: Can I begin the program at anytime?

A: Yes. Acceptance into the program can occur during any semester. To obtain an application for admission, you may phone our Admissions Office at 1-800-367-9222, or
e-mail them at admissions@pct.edu. You may also apply for admission online.
