Program Accreditations/Certifications
Dental Hygiene – Accredited by the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Accreditation
Nursing – Accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. The associate degree and certificate programs are fully approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. The 'Nursing, Traditional' bachelor degree has initial approval by the PA State Board of Nursing. Full approval status will be considered after the first graduating class completes the licensure examination.
Occupational Therapy Assistant – Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
Emergency Medical Services – The Penn College Emergency Medical Services major is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Profession (CoAEMSP). The major is also accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Services.
Paramedic Technician – The Penn College Paramedic Technician major is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Profession (CoAEMSP). The major is also accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Services.
Physician Assistant – Accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
Radiography – Accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology
Surgical Technology – The Penn College Surgical Technology major is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology (www.arcst.org).
