Pennsylvania Farm Show
Each January, students and faculty go to Harrisburg to participate in PA Preferred Culinary Connection. Students assist celebrity chefs and cookbook authors with demonstrations on the Kitchen Stage.
Kentucky Derby
Each May, students are selected by Levy Restaurants to participate in the greatest of all horse races.
SkillsUSA
Students in the Penn College chapter compete in regional, state and national competitions.
Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)
The Penn College chapter of PBL prepares students for the world of business through leadership and career development programs.
Le Jeune Chef Restaurant
Our award-winning dining area where students gain hands-on experience.
Visiting Chef Series
The school's signature series provides opportunities to work with some of the world's most successful chefs.
American Culinary Federation
The national organization of chefs and cooks has the purpose of promoting the image of American chefs through education. To obtain ACF certification, students must be a junior member of the ACF. Students should discuss ACF membership with their faculty adviser and become a member of their local ACF chapter.
Excellence in Hospitality Award and Certificate of Participation
Students are recognized for their participation in events such as the Visiting Chef Series and Open House with certificates for their career portfolios. Participation over time can result in the receipt of the Excellence in Hospitality Award.
Penn College Diners' Club
Student members of the Diner's Club meet regularly at local and distant high profile restaurants in order to personally meet with their respective chefs and owners. These interactions with the industry's leaders expose our students to entrepreneurialism, local and ethnic foods, and "real world" perspectives of the Culinary Arts.

CalJava© Cake Competition
The students in the Cakes and Decorations II class will use all of their creativity to an exciting display of fondant cakes.
Student Government Association (SGA)
The School of Hospitality is represented by one senator. Students are invited to share thoughts and concerns with their senator. Students aspiring to represent the School as a senator are encouraged to review the SGA portal site for election procedures.
