Articulation Agreement: HVAC Technology with TVTC
Requirements
- Graduate of the TVTC Refrigeration and Air Conditioning major with a final cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.00 or higher.
- Completed the courses to be transferred (list below) with grades of 'C' of higher.
- Of the final 60 credits required by the bachelor-degree curriculum, 36 must be completed at Penn College.

- TVTC students must complete the general education requirements of the major.
- General Education courses other than those listed above will be evaluated on a course-by- course basis for equivalency to Penn College courses.

HVAC Technology Major Courses
These courses will substitute as a block if satisfactorily completed with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher. Courses are not evaluated individually; students completing all of the listed TVTC courses, you will receive credit for all of the listed Penn College courses in their respective semesters.
Understanding that exposure to heating systems is not applicable to their geographic region, transferring students must complete the following courses to establish foundational skill sets in this area: PLH 236 - Basic Heating Systems (Installation); PLH 238 - Basic Heating Systems (Heat Loss Calculation and System Design); PLH 244 - Hydronic Heating Systems.
