Electromechanical Maintenance Technology A.A.S. Degree [Curriculum]
Students of the Electromechanical Maintenance Technology degree will prepare for a wide variety of employment opportunities in commercial and industrial settings, by gaining skills and knowledge in:
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical/electronics and mechanical equipment
- Commercial and industrial equipment
- Applications of Programmable Logic Control (PLC)
Graduates have a diverse set of skills and abilities that could prepare them for "green" careers focused on energy, renewable energy, and the environment.
The program prepares students for jobs in building maintenance superintendent/supervisory positions and commercial/industrial maintenance settings such as utilities, hospitals, schools, and manufacturing facilities.
Graduates also may continue at Penn College toward a bachelor's degree in Building Automation Technology.
