Electrical Occupations Certificate [Curriculum]

This program offers the skills and theoretical background needed for a variety of careers such as:
- Industrial maintenance electrician
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Electrical union apprentice
- Electrical testing
- Electrical inspector
- Utility company employee
- Self-employment in residential, commercial or industrial wiring
The program emphasizes electrical and electronic basics and the development of skills through laboratory practice. This program contains 80% laboratory time.
After completing the certificate in Electrical Occupations, students may choose to continue on for one additional year and gain an associate's degree in Electrical Technology or Electromechanical Maintenance Technology.
