Building Construction Technology A.A.S. Degree
Building Construction Technology is an associate's degree which prepares graduates with job entry competencies in the construction industry. Students learn the principles and technologies of residential and light commercial construction. This program emphasizes layout, construction materials, construction methods, cost estimating, project management and construction safety. Courses in English, mathematics, science, computer applications and social science, humanities, or art are included to enhance student career opportunities. This program may serve as a basis for continued education leading to a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Residential Construction Technology and Management and/or vocational education.
