Residential Construction Technology & Management B.S. Degree

Student with instructor on a residential project

The Residential Construction Technology and Management (BRM) is a two-plus-two bachelor's degree. Entrance to this program will be based upon the completion of a two-year associate degree in a building technology program such as Building Construction Technology (CB), Masonry (MN), Electrical Technology (EL), Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning (HV/HP), or Architectural Technology (AT).

This program will give students with the hands-on skills the opportunity to advance to concentrated coursework that will give them management skills to assume positions in the residential construction industry requiring broad-based knowledge and critical thinking skills.

The combination of hands-on skills in the first two years with advanced knowledge of residential construction issues and management skills will prepare students to be contractors, supervisors, estimators, job-site supervisors, and planners for residential construction projects.
