Our four-year Construction Management major is roughly divided into three parts, which students take concurrently — general education, business management, and construction.

Residential Construction Technology & Management B.S. Degree [More Information] [Curriculum]

This program gives students with the hands-on skills the opportunity to advance to concentrated coursework that will give them management skills to assume positions in the residential construction industry requiring broad-based knowledge and critical thinking skills.

Students learn the principles and technologies of residential and light commercial construction. This program emphasizes layout, construction materials, construction methods, cost estimating and construction safety.

Building Construction Technology: Masonry Emphasis A.A.S. Degree [More Information] [Curriculum] [Tool List]

The Building Construction Technology: Masonry Emphasis degree is a unique program offering a blend of technology and management skills. On- and off-campus full-size projects are used to develop competency in block, brick, stone, concrete, fireplace, and structural masonry technologies.

Construction Carpentry Certificate Program [More Information] [Curriculum] [Tool List]

Students develop skills in the correct use of hand tools, portable power tools, and portable power equipment. The curriculum is primarily lab-based with full-size hands-on projects in every phase of residential construction, including concrete, block, brick, and stone masonry, framing, interior and exterior finish, electrical and plumbing.
