Pennsylvania College of Technology's Construction Management bachelor's degree was instituted in 1992.

The Construction Management major is divided into three distinct academic areas which students take concurrently:

  1. General education, which forms the core of a liberal arts education.
  2. General business and management.
  3. Construction management.

As students progress through the program, they receive advanced instruction on tools and knowledge required to run complex construction projects. Students also develop technical skills in a variety of software programs used for scheduling, estimating, and other construction applications.
Students receive the OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry completion card through successful completion of the required elements included in our Construction Safety Management course.  Students are also required to sit for the American Institute of Constructors (AIC) Level I – Associate Constructor Certification.
The program is currently in Candidate status with the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).

Transfers from two-year associate degree programs are encouraged.
