Instruction & Facilities
All courses are taught by full-time or adjunct faculty. All adjunct faculty work full-time in the field of architecture, and many have their own firms. We are committed to helping you reach your potential as productive members of the AEC industry.Class sizes range from about 16 to 22 students. Typical classes have both lecture and lab components, and instructors are present during labs to assist students with lab assignments.
Our facilities include
- computer labs with the latest versions of specialized architectural software, including: AutoCAD, AutoCAD for Architecture, Revit, 3D Studio MAX, Sketchup, Photoshop;
- sustainability related software, including: Green Building Studio, DOE 2.1, Energy 10, Energy Audit Software;
- studio spaces that combine computer stations and layout tables with designated model-building areas;
- major equipment and building performance evaluation tools, including: PV panels, solar water heaters, wind turbine demonstration unit, blower door, air quality meter, thermal imager, duct blaster, power analyzer, digital light meters.
