Collision Repair Technology

Students enrolled in Collision Repair at Pennsylvania College of Technology will develop the knowledge and skills necessary to repair damaged vehicles to their pre-accident condition according to the manufacturer's recommended repair procedures. Students learn to repair the following types of damages:
- non-structural
- structural
- plastic
- aluminum
- glass
- mechanical
- electrical
Students develop skills in one of the best-equipped repair facilities in the nation, with equipment and training such as:
- Blackhawk, Car-O-Liner & Chief frame equipment
- self-centering gauges; and universal, laser, and computerized measuring systems
- welding systems, both in practice labs and on vehicles
- plastic repair methods
- mechanical systems, such as scan tools, brake lathes, computerized alignment and balancing equipment
Also, graduates of the program can complete the Automotive Technology Management B.S. degree via distance learning or on campus.
