Transcripts
Transcripts can be requested from Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport Area Community College and Williamsport Technical Institute, by fax, mail, or in person [how to request a transcript]. If you have attended Pennsylvania College of Technology or Williamsport Area Community College since 1980, you can request transcripts online through the Student Information System (SIS), Pennsylvania College of Technology does not accept telephone or third-party requests for transcripts. Requests for transcripts are processed in the order in which they are received.
Official and unofficial transcripts are available at NO CHARGE from the Registrar's Office. An official transcript bears the Registrar's signature; an unofficial transcript is stamped "Issued to Student" in the official signature block. Transcript requests are processed within 48 hours of receipt of the request. Standard delivery of transcripts is by first class U.S. mail.
If a requested official transcript is not delivered because of an error on our part, we will gladly provide a replacement document. We cannot accept responsibility for non-delivery if the address provided to us is either incomplete or incorrect, nor can we accept the responsibility for timely delivery by the U.S. Post Office or any other mail carrier.
Official transcripts will only be mailed directly from Penn College to a designated third party.
All grade holds must be cleared from your record before transcripts will be released. You can check if there is a hold on your records through SIS. Select the "holds" link to see what office has placed the hold.
Remember: You are the only one who can request your transcript. We will refuse a request from anyone else, including your parents or employer, unless they show us a signed release from you.
