Welcome to Web Scheduling
Web scheduling will be available for current students through the Student Information System during the scheduling period. You will be able to schedule classes from anywhere via the Web. As a current student, you will be able to access the Web Scheduling system on the day and time indicated on your scheduling profile that you obtained from your adviser.
Refer to the Scheduling Calendar for current scheduling dates.
If you are not comfortable scheduling your classes through Web Scheduling, computer lab access for online scheduling on main campus will be available in the Advisement Center’s testing lab (Student and Administrative Services Center, Room 1049). Students at the Aviation and Earth Science campuses can schedule in the computer lab at their respective campus, or on main campus.
It is your responsibility to schedule classes that are appropriate to your educational and personal goals. You should meet with your adviser prior to processing your schedule through Web Scheduling to ensure the courses selected are correct. The Student Guidebook states that students are responsible for meeting all graduation requirements. Faculty advisers may assist you in planning your program of study, but the final responsibility for meeting graduation requirements rests with you.

Student Access to Web Scheduling
Only current students can process a schedule and drop/add classes through Web Scheduling. Your scheduling profile will show the day and time when Web Scheduling can be accessed to process a schedule. If this time is in conflict with your academic or personal schedule, you may access Web Scheduling anytime after the initial day and time.
Web Scheduling will be unavailable to you under certain circumstances. If you meet any one of the following criteria, you will be required to schedule with the assistance of our staff:
- You are a new or transfer student (scheduled by Advisement Center)
- You are a re-enrolled student (contact your academic school office)
- You are funded through TAA
- You are on academic probation
Refer to the Scheduling Calendar for scheduling dates:
[Spring 2008 Scheduling Calendar] [Summer 2008 Scheduling Calendar] [Fall 2008 Scheduling Calendar]
The course offerings are available online either through the Registrar’s Web site or through the Student Information System. By selecting “search course offerings” on either Web site, you will have the most up-to-date version of the course offerings for a particular semester.
The College reserves the right to cancel or change course times, days, room assignments, and instructors, as appropriate or necessary.
Prerequisite or Corequisite Problems
If you do not have the correct prerequisite or corequisite for a specific course, Web Scheduling will block you from scheduling that course. If blocked due to a prerequisite or corequisite problem, you should finish scheduling all other classes and then contact your respective School office for assistance. (School offices are open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.) If you have identified the pre/corequisite problem prior to scheduling and have completed and obtained the appropriate signatures on the Pre/Corequisite Waiver form (PDF), you should take the completed form to one of the designated scheduling locations to have a staff member schedule the class.
Students enrolled in a distance learning major, and/or those who have successfully completed a distance learning course in the past, may Web schedule distance learning classes provided they hold a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Any student who is not enrolled in a distance learning major and any student who has not taken a distance learning class in the past must schedule through the Distance Learning Office, SASC, Room 2120.
Internet Connection & Browser Information
When using Web Scheduling from an off-campus site, the processing speed will depend on the Internet provider you use. DSL, T1 line, or cable-modem connections will be faster than standard dial-up Internet connections.
To schedule your classes through the Web Scheduling option, you must use an Internet Explorer browser 5.0 or greater. You will not be able to access Web Scheduling if using a Macintosh computer due to the incapability of Macintosh computers and the Internet Explorer browser.
You will use the “Next” and “Cancel” buttons to navigate forward and backward through the Web Scheduling screens. Do NOT use a browser’s “Back” and “Forward” buttons.
