Student Information System (SIS) FAQs
What is the Student Information System (SIS)?
The Student Information System (SIS) is a secured Internet-based system that allows you to easily access College information from the convenience of an Web browser.
How do I get my Personal Identification Number (PIN) to access SIS?
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a letter from our Admissions Office containing your Personal Identification Number (PIN). This letter will be sent to your home address. You may also phone the Admissions Office at (570) 327-4761 if you choose not to wait for the letter.
Now that I have my PIN, how do I access SIS?
Browse to www.pct.edu/sis/. You may also browse to www.pct.edu, choose " Students," and then choose "Student Info. System."
To log in to SIS, type in your Student ID number and your PIN.
What information is available on SIS?
You can view/print grades, class schedule, student graduation profile, billing statement, and address information. You can also order transcripts, change your local address and PIN. SIS has a GPA model where you can calculate your future GPA based on predicted grades. SIS also offers access to the Penn College student directory and the off-campus housing listing.
What if I lose or forget my PIN?
If you lose or forget your PIN, contact the Registrar's Office, either by phone or in person, and we can assist you.
What if my SIS account becomes disabled?
When the maximum number (five) of invalid login attempts has been reached, your SIS account will become disabled. Please contact the Registrar's Office at (570) 327-4772 or (800) 367-9222 to reset your SIS account PIN.
How do I change my PIN?
Once you have logged in to SIS, select "change my PIN" and follow the instructions.
Why, after a period of inactivity, have I been logged out of SIS?
After ten minutes of inactivity, SIS will automatically log you out. This is a security feature that prevents others from accessing your account. You will need to log back in to SIS to continue to access your information.
Can I remove my personal information from the SIS Student Directory?
Yes. Log in to SIS and select "Update Student Directory Information." From that screen, you can choose to completely remove yourself from the directory or to limit the information displayed by removing your address, phone number, and/or e-mail address.
