Jessica L. Tobias, a graphic design major from Cogan Station, has been chosen as the Student Government Association's latest Student of the Month.
Visible on campus as president of the Penn College Motorsports Association and a student photographer with College Information and Community Relations, Tobias was characterized as an "exemplary model" of a Pennsylvania College of Technology student.
"She is one of the hardest-working individuals that I know," her nominator wrote. "She is a great leader and a valuable role model to all. Jess demonstrates what it truly means to be a Penn College student."
SGA selects its "Student of the Month" based on commitment, service, role-model behavior, academics, leadership and campus involvement. Nominations from faculty/staff and other students are strongly encouraged.
