Archery
Penn College placed second overall during its first outdoor competition of the season at the James Madison University Invitational March 31-April 1 in Harrisonburg, Va. Michelle Wright (Kendall, N.Y.) was third and Lindsey Fackler (Halifax) fourth in women's compound, where the Lady Wildcats finished second as a team. Jason Kornbau (Felton) placed fourth in men's recurve, where Penn College also finished second as a team, while Jarrod Chandler (Gillett) was fourth in men's compound and the Wildcats finished third as a team.

"All three teams shot very well. The men's and women's compound teams only lost by a few points. The recurve team worked great together and put (together) the best score they ever shot as a team," Penn College coach Chad Karstetter said.

"As a team, they met my expectations for the weekend. Now, we will get ready for the Eastern Regional – with the help of some good weather," the coach added.
