Penn State University Athletic Conference baseball and softball championships are scheduled to be played in Williamsport next week.

On Wednesday, baseball games are scheduled for 10 a.m. and 1, 3 and 8 p.m. at Bowman Field. Softball play gets under way that same day with games at 5 and 7 p.m. at Elm Park. Four teams will compete in each sport in the double-elimination tournaments.
 
Action continues Thursday with games at 11 a.m. and 1 and 3 p.m. in both sports at the same sites. The 3 p.m. games will be played only if needed.
 
Teams and the full tournament schedule will be announced after games this weekend. Both the Pennsylvania College of Technology baseball and softball teams are expected to be among the top seeds in the playoffs.
