Nearly 120 students marched as Pennsylvania College of Technology held its Summer Commencement ceremony Saturday, Aug. 6, at the Community Arts Center.
Column 1 (top to
bottom): Soon-to-be-graduates leaf through the program prior to the
proceedings; a senior shares the moment
– and his mortarboard – with a special family
well-wisher;
posing for yet another photograph; and Davie Jane Gilmour, college president,
turns the tassel of student speaker Tim D. Case to signify his transition
from student to graduate. Column 3 (top to bottom): The student speaker represents his class; the end of a long journey, the start of a new life; Gordon Bryan, vice president of career development, American Infrastructure, accepts this year's Mentorship Award; paramedic technology graduates find shade under a nearby "tree of knowledge."
