PCToday Photo Gallery - Health Careers Camp 2005

About 36 students attended Health Careers Camp on Penn College's main campus Wednesday through Friday. The camp is conducted in partnership with Susquehanna Health System to introduce high-school students to varied job opportunities in the health field. On campus, students explored radiography, nursing, surgical technology, occupational-therapy assisting, health information technology, paramedic technology, dental hygiene and physical fitness. They also visited Susquehanna Health System. Surveys returned from last summer's camp showed that almost every participant agreed or strongly agreed that the camp had prompted them to consider a career in the health sciences.
