About 35 intrepid hikers from the Children's Learning Center traveled to Penn College's School of Natural Resources Management on Thursday for a field trip, hiking one of the campus' nature trails and enjoying a picnic lunch in a waterside pavilion. The tireless troupe – "bug-sprayed" and sun-screened – trekked uphill and down, across bridges and along leaf-strewn paths, checking out all the woodland beauty surrounding the Earth Science Center.
