PCToday Photo Gallery - Chimney Sweeps Attend Masonry Workshop (June 5-9)

Chimney sweeps from across the country visited Pennsylvania College of Technology's Carl Building Technologies Center for "Masonry: A Permanent Improvement," a weeklong workshop offered through the Pennsylvania Guild of Professional Chimney Sweeps. This is the fifth year for the program, which is taught by Glenn R. Luse, a building construction instructor at Penn College, and Chris Prior from the Adirondack Chimney Co. in Middle Grove, N.Y. The workshop helps chimney sweeps acquire basic masonry skills to help them repair problems that surface during their other rooftop duties.
