Klump Academic Center, the oldest building on Penn College's campus, was rededicated Tuesday evening after a $9 million renovation project. The ACC was constructed in 1913 as the Williamsport High School and once housed the area's first adult vocational-training programs, which became the basis for the founding of Penn College forerunners Williamsport Technical Institute and Williamsport Area Community College. Tuesday's ceremony was attended by those who helped bring about the majestic building's rebirth, as well as some of those who accompany its return to a truly academic center.
