PCToday Photo Gallery - Williamsport Growers Market

Eleven students from a catering class offered by Penn College's School of Hospitality took their skills to the Williamsport Growers Market on Sept. 9, where they cooked and served to the public the fresh products offered by area farmers at the market. Ingredients were donated by the participating growers and by Helmrich's Seafood. By participating in the event, students learn the quality difference of working with fresh, local products and have the opportunity to interact with producers who provide the ingredients they use.
