Pennsylvania College of Technology was the final stop for Thursday's 24nd annual God, Country and Community Flag March, an estimated 1,000-plus contingent that made its way from City Hall uptown to the breathtaking Flags Across America site at the college's main entrance. Outside the Student and Administrative Services Center, the group listened to patriotic music, paid tribute to veterans and active military, heard from civic leaders, joined in a national recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, and enjoyed a picnic dinner. Trophies were presented in a number of categories, and parade organizer Anthony DiSalvo handed out "Tony" awards to longtime event supporters including Penn College.
