Students from Pennsylvania College of Technology and Lycoming College shared their diverse talents at the inaugural College Town "Open Mic Night," held April 7 at the Community Arts Center as part of Downtown Williamsport's First Friday activities. Organized by the College Town Student Subcommittee, the event offered a free blend of music, poetry, comedy and dance for the entire community. (Unless otherwise noted, performers are Penn College students.) College Town is an effort by the two colleges, as well as the Newport Business Institute, to better involve students with their civic surroundings. More information on the initiative is available here.
