During an ambitious finals week, the School of Hospitality hosted two events: the CalJava Wedding Cake Contest and Cake and Pastry Display, held in the Professional Development Center on May 1 and 2, and the "Alice in Wonderland" Grand Pastry Buffet and scholarship reception, held in the Susquehanna Room on May 5. The cake contest was the first of its kind for its school, sponsored by cake decorating supplier CalJava International and judged by nationally known Pennsylvania cake decorators.
