Snow swirls around a campus landmark

The Spring 2007 competition invited faculty/staff and students to spotlight the "after hours" world of Pennsylvania College of Technology,
resulting in this photo of the main-entrance flag
waving, but unwavering amid a pelting snowstorm.

Honorable
Mentions

Among the many submissions that made the judges' job difficult were these entries, capturing the sometimes raucous, sometimes silent world of Penn College "after hours." Clockwise from lower left, reflections in a deserted hallway, artfully composed by Henriette K. Evans, Act 101 academic and career specialist; the first snowfall of the season, photographed with eerie beauty by Darin M. Jennings, an architectural technology student from Canton; a college contingent aboard this year's award-winning Mardi Gras float, designed, constructed (and photographed in spite of the evening's chill) by Carl F. Gravely, a building automation technology student from Arona; a 6 a.m. sunrise through the lens of John M. Good, instructor of automation/computer integrated manufacturing; and the friendly heat of competition at a weekend "Powder Puff Football" game between off-campus students and a faculty/staff team, by Jan L. Barlow, athletics secretary/receptionist.
