2009 Food Show
More than 300 high school students, along with members of the local and Pennsylvania College of Technology community, turned out Dec. 4 to visit the School of Hospitality’s annual Food Show, which showcased students’ final projects. Food Show entries were judged by local culinarians Mary Gajda, general manager of the Victoria House and Vic’s Pub in Lewisburg; Kyle Murphy, sous chef at Elizabeth’s An American Bistro in Lewisburg; Jim Miller ’07, sous chef for Sodexo at Lycoming College; and Phil Gajda, owner/executive chef at the Victoria House and Vic’s Pub. Chocolate houses created by students in the Principles of Chocolate Works course were auctioned to benefit Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity.
