At the Williamsport Autodesk User Group meeting on April 27, a Pennsylvania College of Technology faculty member will make a presentation on new functionality for plastics part design in AutoCAD Inventor 2010 software.
Topics to be covered by J.D. Mather, assistant professor of drafting/computer aided design, are a new plastics part feature tool; core/cavity mold layout including mold-flow mold-simulation software now built into AutoCAD Inventor; and mold assembly using standard vendor content.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in Penn’s Inn at the Bush Campus Center. The meeting is open to the public, and refreshments will be served.
