Math Professor Has Paper Published in International Journal

William Ma
William Ma, professor of mathematics at Pennsylvania College of Technology, recently had a research paper – "Euclidean Properties of Hyperbolic Polar Coordinates" – published in an international, peer-reviewed journal.

Ma's paper appears in Computational Methods and Function Theory, Volume 6, 2006. The journal, which publishes original research papers in complex analysis, is issued annually. An article by Ma also appeared in the 2005 volume.

Ma holds a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. His research focuses on complex analysis.

Overall, he has published more than 40 research papers and given 20 invited presentations at international and national conferences. He has been teaching at Penn College for 13 years.
