Students, Employees Reminded of New Online Buying/Selling Venue
Nov. 4, 2009 - 8:27 a.m.
E-mporium, designed by Penn College student Kristin J. Evans, has replaced PCToday’s Classifieds. That service offered an excellent virtual marketplace for employees and students, but its location on the public Web allowed private information (such as phone numbers and e-mail addresses) to be viewed by external audiences. E-mporium brings the functionality of Classifieds into the secure college portal, where personal information can be seen only by employees and students. More information about the change, which also replaces the Bulletin Board feature on the portal, can be found under the E-mporium tab on myPCT.
