Sunday Schedule
The following provides an overview of Sunday’s schedule to help you prepare. Check the Welcome Weekend program you receive at check-in for a detailed schedule of times and locations for all sessions and events.
Breakfast with Your Wildcat Welcome Team Member
9-10 a.m.
Hager Lifelong Education Center, Susquehanna Room
Each student group is assigned a specific breakfast time. Check with your Wildcat Welcome Team member or stop by the Susquehanna Room to find out your time.
Declining balance dollars, flex dollars, Wildcat Plus, PCT OneCard, cash, or credit will be accepted in the Susquehanna Room.
Campus Resource Tour
10 a.m.-noon
The Wildcat Welcome Team will guide you on a campus tour, helping you find your classrooms along the way. (Be sure to bring a copy of your official class schedule!) You will also visit the Madigan Library and Academic Support Services.

Choice #1: Adult Student Networking and Resource Session

Take this opportunity to connect with other nontraditional students (age 25 or older) and learn about resources available to assist you in your academic pursuits.
Choice #2: Disability Services Orientation
Bush Campus Center, Rooms 205 and 207
The Disability Services Office provides an overview of disability accommodations, procedures, student rights and responsibilities, and class schedules. We encourage all new students with disabilities to attend.
Choice #3: Work-Study Information Session
Student & Administrative Services Center, Presentation Room 1056
Invitation Only. All students who will be employed in the Work-Study program this year are required to attend. Please refer to the information you received in the mail.
Choice #4: Penn College Athletics and Intramural Information Session
Bush Campus Center, Penn’s Inn
Are you a sports enthusiast or just interested in staying fit? Come hear about Penn College's 15 intercollegiate varsity sports and how you can try out. You’ll also get information about our active intramural program and state-of-the-art Fitness Center.
Choice #5: How to Get Involved on Campus
Bush Campus Center, CC Commons, First Floor
Come meet the members of the 2008-09 Executive Boards for the Student Government Association, Wildcat Events Board, and Residence Hall Association and learn how you can get involved and become a campus leader. At Penn College, students can make a difference; come be a part of it!

Join us for a FREE lunch under the Hospitality Tent before heading out to check out Campus Fest 2008.
Campus Fest 2008
2-4 p.m.
Thompson Professional Development Center, Lawn
Don’t miss this premier event of the summer featuring live music, free food, take-home novelties, roving artists, and much more. Collect valuable information as you visit with various College offices and be the envy of all your friends by winning our grand prize - $1,000 towards your tuition! – or one of our other great prizes for participating. Be sure to get registered at the check-in table.
Open Computer Lab
2-10 p.m.
Madigan Library, Room 203
Stop by this computer lab to learn how to log in to the Penn College network, find your User ID, use the Student Information System (SIS), and set up a password. Also learn which computer labs you can use for school work and which you can use for fun.
Act 101 Orientation
3-5 p.m.
Klump Academic Center, Room 143
This is a mandatory meeting for all new students participating in Act 101. Complete required program paperwork, learn more about Act 101 services and expectations, discuss strategies for success and leadership, and schedule one-on-one tutoring and mentoring. Additionally, you will have the chance to ask questions about the programs with Act 101 staff, peers, and leaders.
Dinner with Your Wildcat Welcome Team Member
5-7 p.m.
Hager Lifelong Education Center, Susquehanna Room
Each Student Group is assigned a specific dinnertime. Check with your Wildcat Welcome Team member or stop by the Susquehanna Room to find out your time.

7:30 p.m.

Campus View Apartments residents: Bush Campus Center, Penn's Inn
College West Apartments residents: Hager Lifelong Education Center, Susquehanna Room
Rose Street Apartments residents: Field House
Off-campus housing residents: Klump Academic Center, Auditorium
Mandatory sessions for ALL students living in on- or off-campus
housing. On-campus students will meet with their Residence Life
Coordinators, Resident Assistants, and other Residence Life
staff. Off-campus students will meet with their off-campus
housing representative.
Penn College Welcome and Fireworks
9 p.m.
Thompson Professional Development Center, Lawn
Don’t miss the grand opening of the 2008-09 year! Gather with new and returning students, faculty, and staff for welcome messages from the College president, the associate dean of admissions and financial aid, and the Student Government president. Sure to be entertaining, this event culminates with an impressive fireworks display.
Hypnotist: Sailesh
9:30 p.m.

He’s hip, he’s fun, and he’s absolutely hilarious. Sailesh is a high-energy entertainer that is taking college campuses by storm. Sailesh provides a fast-paced but always good-humored performance and leads his volunteer comedians through a safe and hilarious interaction with the subconscious mind.
