ARMY ROTC

Army ROTC

Army ROTC provides leadership instruction and development leading to a commission into the active duty Army, Army Reserves, or National Guard. ROTC students and an enrollment representative will be available to answer your questions about participating in Army ROTC at Penn College. Learn more about the program, time commitment, and scholarship opportunities. Students will be there to provide insight about their experiences and how they manage their busy schedules between college and ROTC. If you are already enlisted in the Reserve Component, stop by to learn more about the Simultaneous Membership Program.

Student Session- Life is full of tough choices! Attend this session to explore your options as you decide on a major. Counselors will guide you through a self-assessment to help you narrow your academic options. Youíll leave this session with some specific majors to explore across campus. Parents/Guardians Session- Join this session while your student participates in the one next door! Counselors will help you learn how to assist and support your son or daughter in the college search process and navigate the confusing maze of majors. After this session you will have a better understanding of the essential factors to examine when choosing a major.

LIBRARY

Engaging Exhibits

Location: Madigan Library

  • Room: First & Second Floor

The Libraryís vestibule features two exhibits: The first is on Williamsport Area Community College as this year marks the first reunion held for those who graduated from WACC, and the second showcases the Centennial Mosaic and the Centennial Sculpture. In addition, the Library is pleased to have displayed two antique automobiles on the main floor: a 1901 Curved Dash Oldsmobile and a 1914 Ford Model T. The Libraryís first and second floor wooden display cabinets were created and built by students from the School of Construction & Design Technologies. The first floor wooden display case highlights Penn College athletics, while the second floor wooden display case provides information on lagers & ales. There are other exhibits and displays throughout the library for visitors to enjoy!

THE GALLERY AT PENN COLLEGE

Centennial Art Installations

Location: Campus Center

  • Room: Outside, Rear of Building

View 3 large-scale art installations created by artists with the help of students. Visit These Trees located behind the Campus Center (CC), Student Bodies in the center of campus, and Centennial Mosaic on the outside wall of the Physician Assistant Center (PAC).

The Gallery at Penn College- Art Exhibit

  • Room: The Gallery at Penn College, 3rd Floor

100 Works! The Centennial Exhibition is currently on view at The Gallery at Penn College, located on the 3rd floor of the Madigan Library. This juried exhibition coincides with the Collegeís 2014 Centennial and features the work of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and retirees.
