Faculty commonly invite guest speakers to a class to provide real-world insights and share experiences. Often these lecturers are only able to appear for one class period, making it difficult for students in other sections to attend the lecture. Digital media can videotape these lectures and provide recordings as necessary, as we did with this presentation by former Lycoming County District Attorney Michael Dinges.

Some complicated procedures and labs need extra reinforcement and repeated viewing before students feel confident replicating what they've learned.

Supplemental video clips and other media provide an effective tool for students to repeatedly review complicated procedures until they feel comfortable with the material.

On-screen Software Recording

Many high-end software suites and techniques can't be effectively taught in a single class session. We employ several different screen-capture and delivery formats to reinforce software instruction. The instructor can narrate what's happening on screen in detail while simultaneously performing the software operation, and the capture software records the entire process for subsequent viewing.
