Digital Delivery of Instructional Materials

OIT offers streaming video via Web (top) and various media encoding and duplicating services. If you're not sure which is the best way to deliver instructional materials to your students, you've come to the right place. Here's a detailed explanation of the multiple digital delivery options available.

Media Encoding

Whether you need to transfer VHS footage to DVD or encode existing video clips to prepare them for Web streaming, Digital Media can help. We have cutting-edge hardware and software to prepare your media for whichever format suits your needs-including MPEG, MPEG-2, Flash, Windows Media, and Quicktime.

Streaming Services

OIT and Digital Media work closely with the College's Web development team to integrate streaming video when necessary. We can provide high- and low-bandwidth versions of existing media to ensure that students and faculty are receiving the best balance of quality and transfer rate, regardless of connection speed.

Media Duplication

OIT offers multiple services for media duplication. For most jobs requiring 100 copies or fewer, we can do the duplication here on campus at a significant savings over offsite duplication services. Whether you need CDs, DVDs, or videotape, we can help.
