Off-Campus Housing List
This list contains off-campus housing units that are available for rent by students at Pennsylvania College of Technology. All units meet the minimum requirements of the Williamsport Bureau of Codes, which follows standards established by the International Code Council (ICC). The codes inspection encompasses, but is not limited to, building soundness, and electrical and safety conditions. More information about the ICC can be found at www.iccsafe.org.
Penn College does not own, supervise, approve, endorse, or evaluate off-campus housing facilities. All arrangements are strictly between the landlords and the student/tenant. Be aware of the terms of your lease. If repairs are to be made before you move in, have them documented in the lease. When you move in, document any and all damage with a camera or video camera.
Only the properties listed beneath the landlord's name have been documented to meet the Williamsport Bureau of Codes minimum requirements. Some landlords may own other properties that have not been inspected or passed minimal code requirements. Be aware that it is the practice of some landlords to show and rent properties to students which are not on the list without disclosing that they are not approved by the Williamsport Bureau of Codes. Penn College does not condone this practice. Be careful that you are aware and fully understand in which building and apartment you will be residing, and use prudence when signing your lease agreement. Descriptions of the properties have been supplied by the landlords.
Final inclusion in the Penn College Off-Campus Housing List is at the discretion of Penn College administration.
