In addition, golf and cross-country athletes recorded six first-place finishes, 15 players earned Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Conference honors, two players were named United States Collegiate Athletic Association All Americans and three other players received USCAA All American Honorable Mention recognition.

In addition to PSUAC championships in men's soccer and cross-country and co-ed tennis, the Penn College men’s soccer team placed among the top four in the USCAA national tournament, the men’s cross-country team was fourth in the USCAA and the golf team was fifth in the USCAA.

Through the fall sports season, Pennsylvania College of Technology holds the top spot in the PSUAC 2011 Chancellor’s Cup standings.

With its three championships, the Wildcats have 37.5 points. Penn State Mont Alto is second with 27 points, followed by Penn State Brandywine with 26.5. Penn College won the Chancellor’s Cup each of the past two years. The cup is awarded to the school that earns the most points throughout the year.

In the first USCAA Director’s Cup standings of the season, through the fall championships, Penn College is third with 274 points. Lindenwood University at Belleview (Ill.) is on top with 285 points, and Florida College is second with 278 points. The Director’s Cup is awarded annually to the institution that excels the highest in a wide range of men’s and women’s sports for which the USCAA offers championships. The Director’s Cup was instituted in 2006-07. Southern Virginia University (currently ranked fifth with 250 points) has won the award each of the past four years.

“We are pleased for having another successful fall sports season. Three of our teams – men's cross-country, tennis and men's soccer – won PSUAC championships to get our year off to a positive beginning. Coaches Mike Paulhamus (cross-country), Aimee Plastow (tennis) and Enrique Castillo (soccer) and Mark Anderson (soccer assistant) are to be congratulated for leading their respective teams to this level of accomplishment,” said Douglas Byerly, the college director of athletics.

A number of Pennsylvania College of Technology fall sports student-athletes have received postseason honors from the USCAA and PSUAC.
