Industrial & Human Factors Design
Bachelor of Science
The Bureau of Labor Statistics considers this a growing field based on increased demand for products that are easy and comfortable to use, especially in consumer electronics, medicine, transportation and other fields. Many jobs in the field are expected to remain in the United States, where designers understand trends and cultural sensitivities in the domestic market.
Web Design & Multimedia
Bachelor of Science
There is a growing need for employees who can express a company’s message and image as Web designers and developers, multimedia specialists and Internet publishers. The 2+2 program is offered online and accepts students who have completed associate-degree requirements in art or an allied field and wish to continue their education.
Renewable Energy Technologies
Associate of Applied Science
Reflecting a growing need for energy-system technicians and specialists, the degree (presented in a sequence of theory and laboratory courses over the four-semester curriculum) develops the practical skills to install, troubleshoot and maintain photovoltaic, wind-turbine and solar-thermal systems.
IAS Risk Analyst
Minor
The minor enhances the Bachelor of Science with courses related to cryptography and information security forensics, which are crucial to maintaining secure information technology systems.
National Security Telecommunications and Systems Security
Competency Credential
The nine-credit credential provides the minimum requirements for training information systems security professionals in telecommunications security and automated information systems security.
