On the cover: Surrounded by defenders, Tom Little drives to the basket during a win over Penn State Hazleton. Wildcat athletes proved themselves not only on the playing field but also in the classroom. Fall athletes earned a cumulative grade-point average of 2.94 for the Fall 2008 semester, topping the all-student average. Fall-team academic performance was led by women's soccer (3.20), men's soccer (3.12), and tennis and men's cross country (3.06). Spring 09
