Accreditations & Recognitions

American Bar Association (ABA) reapproved legal assistant/paralegal certificate and associate- and bachelordegree majors.

American Council for Construction Education (ACCE) approved accreditation of construction management major.

Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) five-year business program quality assurance report was completed as required.

Automated Drafting and Design Association (ADDA) certified that revised computer aided drafting courseware in bachelor- and associate-degree majors meets requirements.

Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards renewed certification of financial planning curriculum.

Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) reapproved health information management program.

National Association of Industrial Technology conducted an on-site visit of automotive technology management program.

National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) recertified diesel equipment technology, collision repair and automotive technology (including Ford ASSET) programs.

National Center of Excellence in Welding Education and Training (Weld-Ed) continued funding to establish a Welding Education Center; the School of Industrial and Engineering Technologies is a project-team member for the program.

Pennsylvania Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL) renewed Keystone Stars 4-star status and certification of the Children’s Learning Center, which also received continuation of accreditation by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Middle States.
