Retrofit Installer Technician


Retrofit Installer Technician – A Retrofit Installer Technician is a residential energy efficiency professional who installs energy efficiency upgrades in single-family homes, and small multi-family housing (2-4 units).

NSSC’s Home Energy Professional Retrofit Installer Technician training program is accredited under the IREC Standard 01022:2011.

HEP Certifications Courses and Prerequisites

Individuals that wish to take coursework in this training program must complete a Home Energy Professional Training Program Application and submit to NSSC along with proof of completion for the prerequisite coursework (OSHA 10 Construction Industry and DOE Lead-Safe Weatherization). After your application has been approved by NSSC, you may enroll in training program courses.
