OSHA 30 Construction Industry

This course is required for weatherization crew chiefs. It provides participants with a more in-depth analysis of OSHA policies, procedures, standards, and construction industry safety and health principles. Individuals who supervise crews, manage safety or health programs, or are interested in taking more advanced training are encouraged to attend. Classroom facilitators not only identify safety and health principles that help the participant meet OSHA requirements, but special emphasis is paid to those scenarios in the construction industry that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. Participants are also briefed on basic instructional approaches, improving compliance communication, and how to provide effective training to workers at a construction site. Participants that successfully complete this course receive an OSHA construction industry safety and health 30-hour card. Course Hours: 30.
