DOE Lead Safe Weatherization

Lead-safe weatherization is a set of protocols to be used when disturbing surfaces that may have lead-based paint, that will reduce and control the amount of lead dust and paint chips that are generated. The protocols, when designed and followed properly, address compliance with applicable regulations, including state and local regulations, and may reduce the risk of liability associated with the work. Gain the understanding of lead-based paint hazards and their harmful effects and acquire skills in reducing the lead dust generated when painted surfaces are disturbed in the course of installing energy efficiency measures. Course Hours: 6.5. PA WAP AGENCIES AND SUB CONTRACTORS ARE ADMITTED AT NO CHARGE. SELECT THE SECTION WITH $0.00 COST. SELECT "OTHER" UNDER PAYMENT OPTIONS WHEN COMPLETING REGISTRATION.
