AMS Digital Mathematics Registry
From the American Mathematical Society, this Web site provides "centralized access to certain collections of digitized publications in the mathematical sciences. The registry is primarily focused on older material from journals and journal-like book series that originally appeared in print but now is available in digital form.  The registry is organized both by the collections and by the individual journals (or series) themselves, providing links to each that will be regularly verified and updated.  All versions of the Digital Mathematics Registry (DMR) are in the public domain; they may be downloaded, modified, and posted on other sites. Each version is dated, and the AMS requests that modifications of any version retain this date."

ERIC
“ERIC - the Education Resources Information Center - is an online digital library of education research and information. ERIC is sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education. ERIC provides ready access to education literature to support the use of educational research and information to improve practice in learning, teaching, educational decision-making, and research.”

EULER
“The aim of the project is to provide strictly user-oriented, integrated network based access to mathematical publications. The EULER service intends to offer a ‘one-stop shopping site’ for users interested in Mathematics. Therefore, an integration of all types of relevant resources is necessary:

  • Bibliographic databases
  • Library online public access catalogues
  • Electronic journals from academic publishers
  • Online archives of preprints and grey literature
  • Indexes of mathematical Internet resources

will be made interoperable by the use of common Dublin Core based Metadata descriptions. A common user interface - the EULER Engine - will assist the user in searching for relevant topics in different sources in a single effort. The EULER system will be designed as an open, scaleable and extensible information system. Library users and librarians from mathematics in research, education, and industry will actively participate. EULER is an initiative of the European Mathematical Society, and especially focuses on real user needs.”

InformaWorld:  Mathematics & Statistics
"informaworldTM is a one-stop site hosting journals, eBooks, abstract databases and reference works published by Taylor & Francis, Routledge, Psychology Press and Informa Healthcare."  This site aims to provide a valuable resource to people in the fields of mathematics and statistics, and contains detailed information on journals and e-books.  From this link, you will be able to search for abstracts of articles and chapters in books.  You can also browse by title, author, and subject.  Full-text of these articles may not be freely available, therefore students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

Jahrbuch Database:  Electronic Research Archive for Mathematics
“The Electronic Research Archive results from a project supported by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). It consists of two parts: a literature database based on the Jahrbuch über die Fortschritte der Mathematik (1868-1942) and an archive of digitised mathematical publications at the Staats- und Universitätsbibliothek Göttingen.”

JSTOR
This database contains archival full-text documents of almost 50 mathematics titles.  Use the advanced search interface to limit to just those titles.  Titles include American Journal of Mathematics, College Mathematics Journal, and Transactions of the American Mathematical Society.  Articles go back to the first issue of the first volume and go up through, but not including, the previous three to five years.

Mathematics at Elsevier
Browse through or search mathematics journals published by Elsevier.  Although these titles are freely searchable, articles may not be free, however students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

MathSciNet:  Mathematical Reviews on the Web
From the American Mathematical Society, "MathSciNet is an electronic publication offering access to a carefully maintained and easily searchable database of reviews, abstracts and bibliographic information for much of the mathematical sciences literature."  Although this database was made freely searchable, articles may not be free, however students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

Project Euclid
"Project Euclid's mission is to advance scholarly communication in the field of theoretical and applied mathematics and statistics. Project Euclid is designed to address the unique needs of low-cost independent and society journals. Through a collaborative partnership arrangement, these publishers join forces and participate in an online presence with advanced functionality, without sacrificing their intellectual or economic independence or commitment to low subscription prices. Full-text searching, reference linking, interoperability through the Open Archives Initiative, and long-term retention of data are all important components of the project."  Although this database was made freely searchable, articles may not be free, however students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

ScienceDirect
"ScienceDirect contains over 25% of the world's science, technology and medicine full text and bibliographic information.  It offers a rich journal collection of over 2,000 titles," including several mathematics titles.  Although this database was made freely searchable, articles may not be free, however students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

ProQuest Research Library
“From business and political science to literature and psychology, ProQuest Research Library™ provides one-stop access to a wide range of popular academic subjects. The database includes more than 3,950 titles—over 2,700 in full text—from 1971 forward. It features a highly-respected, diversified mix of scholarly journals, trade publications, magazines, and newspapers.”

SpringerLink
"SpringerLink is an integrated full-text database for journals and books published by Springer.  SpringerLink offers free access to search, tables of content, abstracts, and alerting services."  Full-text of these articles may not be freely available, therefore students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

Wiley InterScience
Similar to ScienceDirect, this database was made available to search leading scholarly journals for free, however the articles may not be free.  Therefore students, faculty and staff who need an article can request a copy using our Document Delivery Form.

 Wilson Applied Science Full Text
“This bibliographic database indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length. Full Text coverage for selected periodicals is also included. English-language periodicals published in the United States and elsewhere are covered; non-English language articles are included if English abstracts are provided. Periodical coverage includes trade and industrial publications, journals issued by professional and technical societies, and specialized subject periodicals, as well as special issues such as buyers' guides, directories, and conference proceedings. Abstracting coverage begins with periodicals published in March 1993. The abstracts range from 50 to 300 words and describe the content and scope of the source articles.
