BioTech's Life Science Dictionary
Designed as "a hybrid biology/chemistry educational resource and research tool on the World Wide Web," BioTech is a project of the Dr. Andrew Ellington Lab at the University of Texas at Austin.

Biology Project
Developed at The University of Arizona  for biology students at the college and high school level, it includes problem sets, tutorials, and activities on biochemistry, cell biology, chemicals and human health, developmental biology, human biology, immunology, Mendelian genetics, and molecular biology.

Biozone
This New Zealand biology textbook publisher has compiled biology links in such categories as animal, cell, plant, and space biology, human evolution, biodiversity, conservation, ecology, and genetics.

DNA Learning Center
"The Dolan DNA Learning Center (DNALC) is the world's first science center devoted entirely to public genetics education and is an operating unit of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory...The DNALC extends the Laboratory's traditional research and postgraduate education mission to the college, pre-college, and public levels."

Human Genome Project Information
The U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science's Human Genome Project site contains a genomics primer, image gallery, ethical, legal, and social issues, and more.

Infomine: Biological, Agricultural, and Medical Sciences
Infomine is a "librarian-built virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level." This segment of the site concentrates on genetics, biochemistry, biology, whole organism research and ecology.

Microbes.info is a Web site designed to bring useful and interesting microbiology informational resources to you.

Netfrog
A Frog dissection tutorial originally designed in 1994 for high school biology classrooms, the site was updated and upgraded in 2002. Created by the Curry School of Education, University of Virginia.

Plants Database (National Resources Conservation Service, U.S. Dept. Agriculture)
ThePlants Database provides standardized information about the vascular plants, mosses, liverworts, hornworts, and lichens of the U.S. and its territories.
