Awarded annually in January to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.

Emmys
Awarded annually in September by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Golden Globes
Awarded annually in January to domestic and foreign artists in many fields of the entertainment industry.

Grammy Awards
Awarded annually in February, the Grammys' honor "artistic achievement, technical proficiency and overall excellence in the recording industry, without regard to album sales or chart position."

Newbery Medal
Awarded annually in January to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children published in the United States during the preceding year.

Nobel Prize
The official Web Site of the Nobel Foundation is called "Nobel e-Museum", offering information on all 736 Prize Winners to date, the Nobel Organization, Alfred Nobel, and Nobel events, as well as educational material and games. The prize is awarded annually in October.

Off-Broadway Theatre Awards (Obies)
Awarded annually in May, the Village Voice Obie Awards were started in 1956 to "salute vibrant and dynamic theater."

Pulitzer Prize
